Pokka's Story

Pokka's story began in 2015 when founders Maria and James Rodriguez decided to turn their shared passion for coffee and hospitality into a dream café. Starting with a small storefront and a big vision, they set out to create a space that would bring people together over exceptional food and drink.

What started as a simple coffee shop has grown into a beloved community institution. Through the years, we've weathered challenges, celebrated successes, and always remained true to our core mission: creating a place where quality meets community.

Our journey hasn't always been easy, but it's been incredibly rewarding. From our first customer who became a regular, to the local artist whose work first graced our walls, to the countless conversations and connections that have happened over our tables – every moment has contributed to making Pokka what it is today.

Today, Pokka serves thousands of customers each month, employs a dedicated team of 25 staff members, and continues to be a cornerstone of our local community. But despite our growth, we've never forgotten our humble beginnings or the values that got us here. Our story is still being written, and we're excited to see what the future holds.
